About Town of Lake, Price County
The Town of Lake is nestled in the northwest corner of Price County, adjacent to the City of Park Falls, in northcentral Wisconsin. The population was 1,128 at the 2016 census. The Town of Lake covers over 17,000 acres.
The Town of Lake is a picturesque rural area offering beautiful landscape and scenery. We offer a beautiful environment to live or visit. The township contains lakes, creeks, rivers, forests, national forests, resorts, ATV and snowmobile trails and offers an abundance of year round outdoor activities. The Tuscobia Trail runs through the Town of Lake and provides miles of trails for snowmobiling in the winter and ATV in the summer.
Butternut Lake and the Flambeau River offer excellent water activities including fishing, boating, skiing, canoeing and kayaking. Ice fishing is a great winter sport and produces entertainment as well as great eating.
